The protest of Iranian Journalists against recent arrests of internet
journalists received wide spread attention in the international media.
The BBC has reported that the "the new generation of Iranian journalists are
in grave danger. The BBC also focused on the speeches given by defense
lawyers, who were critical of the fact that they had yet to find out about
the whereabouts of their clients and their charges.

journalists by 25 major websites. Radio France reported on Reporters
without Borders' (RSF) request to immediately release the arrested internet
journalists and bloggers.
